What did Arthur say to Guinevere at bedtime?

Knighty-Knight!

The Legend of King Arthur

WHOLE SCHOOL LITERACY

The people of Britain are in despair - after years of fighting and unhappiness they need a new kind of hero...

Luckily Arthur and his best friend Guinevere are on hand to "Cheer up Britain!"

This original 60 minute show uses music and puppetry, alongside a very generous helping of Hobgoblin's trademark silliness, to reinvent the classic story of chivalry and adventure...

"Very enjoyable - children laughed and cheered all afternoon: obviously well written with children as the audience in mind.

Very committed actors/ess who engaged fully with the children. We would definitely consider booking again. Thank you."

Mick Beard, Wickhambreaux Primary School

There is no maximum audience size for this production so everybody in the school, from Reception all the way up to the Staff, can watch together.

"Excellent production. The children really enjoyed it and were thoroughly engrossed. The set and use of props was very effective. The actors were very convincing in their different roles."

Mrs H Smith, Spire Junior School

"Professional yet friendly staff - both by phone when booking and also the actors.

The children of all year groups were totally engaged with the performance, with parents and staff giving very positive feedback. Already booked for next Christmas!"

Clare Horley, Bursledon Junior School

"Pupils really enjoyed the show.

The pace, scope for pupil involvement and humour were much appreciated. Sets and costume/character changes were efficient and effective and the story was clear for the whole age range to follow.

A fun show!"

                       St Bernard's Preparatory School

"Fantastic - perfectly pitched and very enjoyable. Characters were great and extremely entertaining.

This is the 2nd time we have had a performance from Hobgoblin and would recommend to any schools. Really enjoyable!!!"

                                           S Perkins, Durston House School

"The arrival, set-up and clearing away was timely and fuss-free.

The different characters were well  acted allowing the children to differentiate.

The costumes were realistic (bearing in mind how many changes had to be done)

Well done & thank you."

"I think that the play was fantastic! It was very slick and excellently performed.

The children, from Reception to Year 6, were engaged for the whole performance. Well done.

The language was easy to understand and the teachers thought that the amount of audience participation increased gradually so that all could join in successfully.

The children behaved well throughout and were not left too excited, so thank you.

We all want to congratulate you on an excellent performance and look forward to next year.

Well done!"

Sharon Kimsey,  Oake Bradford & Nynehead

"Excellent show - really creative and totally aimed at the right age for us.

Wonderful acting and we loved the way three people swapped roles so effectively.

Children (and staff) were thoroughly entertained without being too hyper.

We LOVED it!"
