ROMANS IN BRITAIN
What must life have been like for a Roman Legionary serving in the cold North of England?
"Wow - a feast for our eyes, ears and brains. Great idea to have the interim discussions to re-focus learning for everyone.
Please come back again and again and again."
Louisa Brown, Knightlow Primary School
If, for any reason, we are unable to visit you in person to perform the show we have a brilliant filmed version available.

This interactive play blends action and discussion to fully immerse the audience in the story. As well as watching the play the children also get the chance to discuss the action they are watching in 'interactions' with the actors throughout the show.

It's certainly not made any better by having to venture beyond the protection of the wall.
Join Gaius as he arrives for his new posting at Hadrian's Wall.

"The quality of Hobgoblin productions is always extremely high and we were not disappointed with 'The Wall'!
It is very impressive how the team manages to convey so much information in such a humorous and engaging way. The format of the performance, interactions and workshops works very well as it helps to consolidate learning and extends the children's practice in drama.
The team are 100% reliable, punctual and professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to another school."
Vanessa Slade, St Anthony's RC PrimarySchool

"Another inspirational performance! The boys thoroughly enjoyed the play (as did the teachers) and learned much from the experience.
The drama workshop brought out the creative side of the pupils. They loved it. Thank you again."
Louise McGrath, Donhead Preparatory School
"Excellent production - very informative and entertaining for the children and also managed to be enjoyable for the adults.
Managed to cover a lot of ground in a short time. One of the best we have had."
Carole Winter, Loxwood Primary School
"Entertaining and educational for the kids.
Professional staff who were excellent actors and were brilliant with the students."
Ray Gabbard, Cumnor House School
"A fantastic play loved by both children and staff.
Very informative and enjoyable.
The workshops were a great way to elicit childrens understanding, a great way of informing teachers of the childrens understanding so far!
Thank you!"
Miss Trinion, Bradley Primary School
"Thank you for a fantastic morning! The children absolutely loved it and the performance supplemented their prior knowledge really well.
I'll definitely share this with other teachers and schools in the area. Thanks."
